Aquaponics

Aquaponics is a method of farming that merges fish cultivation (aquaculture) with hydroponics, brilliantly utilizing the best of both worlds. The end result is a closed-loop system that allows both fish and vegetables to grow together in abundance.

In short, fish waste acts as a natural fertilizer for plants. As the plants consume the byproducts excreted by the fish, the water is ultimately purified, creating a harmonious environment for both fish and plants to thrive.

Not only is Aquaponics an extremely water-efficient method for farming (up to 90% less water than traditional farming), it is an excellent means of self-sufficiency as it provides generous amounts of both fish and vegetables.

We've produced lots of great literature that will help you get started with Aquaponics.
